Derived from the inner part of the elm bark of the Slippery Elm Tree, Slippery Elm is an herb used for many medicinal purposes. When brewed as a tea, it becomes very viscous and is drank to aid digestion as it soothes the lining of the stomach. It is also consumed to soothe sore throats and is commonly consumed by singers as a throat coat. Offered here as straight Slippery Elm, it can also be blended with other teas such as ginger for a custom cup!
