Elevated Basics Spice Gift Set

We take some of our very popular organic spice standards to the next level, with our Elevated Basics Spice Gift Set. Where freshness, aroma, and quality are concerned, these are no ordinary spices, but rather the best-of-class, hand selected at our shop and guaranteed to impress the most discerning cooks.

The spices are packaged in beautiful recycled glass cork jars and housed in our signature wooden slide box, which is made in Maine. Each jar contains approximately 1 oz. of spices.

Here are the spices:

• Organic Smoked Spanish Paprika - Smoked in a traditional oak wood barrel, the delicately sweet-smoky aroma will add color and richness to stews, rub blends, and rice dishes.
• Organic Vietnamese Cinnamon - The rich, aromatic, pleasantly sweet taste of this fluffy, delicate powder can be attributed to its high oil content (4%). Great for lattes, baking, and oatmeal recipes.
• Organic Cumin Powder - Pungent, sharp, and slightly sweet, the greenish brown powder of this herb is an essential ingredient in Mexican and Indian cuisine (chili con carne and hot tamales come to mind).
• Fleur de Sel (finishing salt) - This French culinary standard from Guérande, offers a moist texture, and a rich, delicate flavor that melts as it touches the tongue. Compliments steamed/grilled veggies, salads, and roasted or baked meats.
• Organic Herbs de Provence - With roots in French provincial cooking, this flavorful and floral summertime blend is best reserved for pastas, chicken, and seafood. INGREDIENTS: organic basil, organic marjoram, organic thyme, organic lavender, organic spices and organic herbs
• Organic Turmeric Powder- Integral ingredient in Middle-Eastern and South-Asian cooking, turmeric is a key addition to curries, rice, and soups.
