Pure cocoa butter is extracted from whole cocoa beans. Once the cocoa beans are fermented and dried, they are then roasted and dehulled, producing cocoa nibs. The nibs are then ground and pressed to extract the cocoa butter, an edible fat, which is solid at room temperature but quickly melts at body temperature.

Our pure food-grade cocoa butter is in small pieces called drops, making it easy to work with. It is one of the main components used in the making of chocolate and can be used in other baking recipes. It is velvety smooth and has a pleasant chocolatey aroma, as well as moisturizing effects, making it also great to work with in homemade cosmetics, soaps, and lotions.
