Steeping The Perfect Pot Of Tea.

Steeping time and temperature varies by tea type. Remember, it is easy to over steep and over cook your delicate tea leaves. Here is a good chart to follow:

Green Tea: Steep for 2 minutes at 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Black Tea: Steep for 3 minutes at 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

White Tea: Steep for 2-3 minutes at 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

Dark Oolong: Steep for 3-4 minutes at 195 degrees Fahrenheit.

Green Oolong: Steep for 2-3 minutes at 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

Herbal Infusions: Steep for 4-5 minutes at 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
