We bring you Autumn In New York, our special tribute to the season and the city, where color, diversity, beauty, and taste combine forces for a blissful and lasting culinary road trip.
There are many signs announcing the arrival of fall, from leaves on the sidewalk, to the shorter days, but our favorite is the shift in our taste-buds to all things spicy and cozy. Look to these staples of the season to enliven the meals and drinks that warm and comfort us, and let these flavors of autumn fall like leaves to your lips.
Here is what's included:
Organic Mulling Spices: Mulled wine or mulled cider make the perfect hot drink to take the chill away, as the warmth of the cinnamon, allspice, and clove balance the citrus of the orange peel. Ingredients: organic cinnamon chips, organic cloves, organic allspice, organic orange peel, reusable cotton culinary bag
Organic Pumpkin Spice: Add to all types of baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more. Sprinkle on oatmeal or on the top of your favorite foamy latte. Ingredients: organic cinnamon, organic sugar, organic allspice, organic cloves, organic nutmeg
Organic Masala Chai Tea: Pour freshly boiled water over 1 tsp in strainer. Let steep for 3-5 minutes. Add milk and sugar, if desired for a spicy, creamy, and sweet heart-warming treat. Ingredients: organic Indian black tea, organic cardamom, organic ginger, organic cinnamon, vanilla flavoring
Clove Sugar: Sprinkle over freshly baked cookies, oatmeal, or cakes. You can also mix directly into tea (especially chai tea!) or coffee to add the warmth of cloves with sugary sweetness. Ingredients: cloves, natural cane sugar
Organic Cinnamon Sugar: Sprinkle over crepes, cookies, oatmeal, and more. Add directly to tea or use as a drink rimmer to bring the flavor of the season to any cup of hot cocoa or coffee. Ingredients: organic Vietnamese cinnamon powder, organic cane sugar
Spices are packaged in beautiful, recycled glass spice jars.
