Cinnamon Sticks (True Cinnamon)

"True" or "Ceylon" cinnamon is lighter in color & sweeter in taste than cassia sticks. They are easy to grind and have an almost indefinite shelf life (as compared to cinnamon powder). Middle Eastern and Asian recipes make liberal use of cinnamon in their main dishes, curries, stews, biriyanis, and as a marinade for beef and lamb.
