A famously smoky aroma and flavor. To create this, the finished tea is given some extra drying over smoking pine fire, imparting a sweet, clean smoky flavor to the tea. Some use milk to smooth out the smoky flavor.

I've tried at least 10 different brands and this is, by far, my favorite lapsang souchong.
Lapsang souchong is, to me, a perfect combination of cozy and exotic, and this one from Sullivan Tea and Spice is deeply flavorful while still having a lightness. And it is organic! very wonderful. I have to buy a bigger quantity next time!
