Marquis de Kampot peppercorns are organically grown on a family-owned farm according to traditional Cambodian practices. Their 15-hectare plantation in Cambodia's Kampot Province is nestled against the hills of a beautiful valley, one of the last controlled by the Khmer Rouge. They currently have 1 hectare of Kampot pepper on roughly 9,000 vines under production.
The Kampot Black Peppercorn provides an aromatic, well-rounded flavor with the expected heat but an unexpected sweet finish. Perfect for the tabletop but robust enough for steaks, stews, and braise cooking.
