The latest addition to our salt collection: Persian Blue Salt is considered the most rare salt in the world only found along the mountain ranges in Iran. It’s an ancient salt formed over 110 million years ago and has not been exposed to modern pollutants making it the cleanest and purest salt on the market.

Giving a unique visual appearance and slight mineral finish is magnesium, which naturally occurs in the salt and give some grains their characteristic blue hue.

Just The FAQ

We depend on (2) essentials when sourcing our tea: our picky taste buds and our personal relationships with some of the finest tea growers to ensure excellent taste, quality, environmental stewardship, and reasonable prices for our customers. We've been at this for 20 years and still relish the quest for amazing tea.

A walk in Washington Square Park, a day at the beach, a backyard BBQ, a slice at the local pizza place to name a few. The every day experiences of life are our inspirations. We love to make gift sets with reusable and recyclable materials, such as glass vials, wooden boxes, and pulp paper clamshells. The combination of sustainability with delicious ingredients is a major factor in the design and curation of our sets.

We bring in spices, salts, and herbs from all over the world.

By cultivating close relationships with growers, harvesters, and importers, we strive to source the best quality and most delicious ingredients for all types of cuisines and uses.

With an emphasis on taste, aroma, and sustainability, we work with producers to source the most flavorful, unique, and freshest spices and herbs available.

We are a small, family-owned business that has been in the tea and spice industry for over 20 years.

We hold firm to the idea that individual customer service and passion for our products sets us apart. From custom tea blends, to that perfect present, every item in our store is thoughtfully and carefully selected with tea and spice lovers in mind.

Whether you are in the market for your first loose leaf tea or are looking for dinner inspiration, we are happy to offer our extensive knowledge and recommendations to all who visit with us.

Persian Salt

Good quality. You can see the blue crystals in the salt, hence the name Persian Blue. Strong, natural salt unlike supermarket crap brands. It is a but pricey, but that is expected based on the item.

Amazing salt I learned about from a Youtube video. They claimed it is the best in the world, even better than Himalayan... Nice service Sullivan Street!
